We're very happy to welcome you to the St John's church Tunbridge Wells website!

Prominently situated near the centre of the lovely town of Tunbridge Wells, St John's has been an integral part of the community for over 150 years. Our aim is to be a Christ-centred, Bible-believing church family, committed in our mission statement to "Knowing Jesus better, making Jesus better known". Our families and young people's work has grown strongly in the recent years, and our main gatherings include the very young, the very senior, and every age in between.

We love to see new faces each Sunday, and extend a warm and gentle welcome to all, whatever their views about the Christian faith. A great variety of smaller groups meet during the week, and those who want to make the church their home are encouraged to belong to one. Believing it to be God's living word to us today, we give the Bible a central place in both our larger and smaller meetings. And we try never to forget that we are here to serve others for Jesus' sake; knowing Him better and making Him known.

So, having welcomed you to the website, we would love to welcome you to St John's itself. Come and see us!

St John's is a bible believing church which seeks to glorify God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - by

• Teaching the word of God to build up all ages in Christ.
• Praying and Caring for everyone within our church community.
• Serving our parish, our town, and the world beyond, by sharing the good news of God's love through word and deed.

St John's exists to know Jesus better and to make Jesus better known.
