As a part of the wider church family, our women's ministry seeks to know Jesus better and make Jesus better known.
This happens in many ways, as we all encourage one another and share God's Word with one another on Sundays, in small groups and throughout our day to day lives.
We also run a number of events through the year too:
- Events that help us explore the Christian faith, perhaps for the first time.
February 1st 2020: a breakfast with a helpful talk explaining the Christian faith and opportunity for Q and A.
- Events that seek to build us up in faith as we continue to follow Jesus.
March 13th-15th 2020: A weekend away together in the beautiful East Sussex countryside.
June 13th 2020: The Sussex Gospel Partnership Women's Day (at All Saints' Church, Crowborough).
We also run short courses throughout the year that are great for exploring Christianity: 'Life Explored' and 'Christianity Explored'.
Look out for more details of all these different opportunities - both online here and in our weekly 'Church Family News'.
'There is hope in a hopeless world' - Women's Breakfast
Come along to hear an engaging talk from our guest speaker Deborah Kelly, who works for Grace Church Wanstead.
Deborah will be sharing her experience of hope in the face of suffering, having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in her late 20s. Deborah will also share with us the hope that the Christian faith offers us in a hopeless world.
There will also be a delicious breakfast for us to enjoy!
Saturday 1st February, 9:30am to 11am.
Tickets must be booked in advance and cost £5 each.
Women's Bible Studies
These are for women of any age and stage of life. We meet weekly during term-time to study the Bible, encourage each other and pray. Our aims are to know Jesus better and to make him better known. We'd love you to join us if you are already a Christian or if you're wanting to find out more about the Christian faith.
Groups meet in the church centre during term-time on Tuesday afternoons (2 - 3.15pm), Wednesday mornings (9.30-11am) and Thursday mornings (10.30am - 12noon).
On Wednesday mornings there is also a crèche for babies and pre-school children (in a large, safe, fun environment with lots of toys). There are ample toilets and baby changing facilities to hand.
